Snacks to get your child to eat healthier

1. Peanut Butter Balls 

Ingredients

  • Alpino Natural Peanut Butter Smooth - ¼ cup
  • Butter - 3 tbsp
  • Icing Sugar - 1 cup
  • Powdered Biscuits - ½ cup
  • Dark Chocolate Chips - 2 cup

Directions

  1. Mix butter, peanut butter, sugar, and biscuit.
  2. Take a small portion and roll it
  3. Place it in the fridge and let it sit for 2 hours.
  4. Melt chocolate in a bowl.
  5. Dip the balls in chocolate.
  6. Place it on a plate.

2. Peanut Butter Banana Cake

Ingredients

  • All-Purpose flour / Maida - 1¼ cup (150 grams)
  • Cocoa Powder - ¼ cup
  • Baking Soda - 1 tsp
  • Powdered Sugar - 1 cup (200 grams)
  • Unsalted Butter - ½ cup (100 grams)
  • Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
  • Ripe Banana - 3
  • Egg - 2
  • Alpino Organic Peanut Butter Smooth - ½ cup
  • Chocolate Chips - 1 cup

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180-degree c.
  2. Line a square pan with parchment paper.
  3. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla until creamy.
  4. Add banana and beat until mixed.
  5. Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
  6. Add in flour, cocoa, baking soda, and fold gently.
  7. Add in chocolate chips and fold gently.
  8. Spoon this into a baking pan and dollop peanut butter all over the cake. Swirl it.
  9. Bake for 30 mins
  10. Remove and cool completely.
  11. Slice and serve.

3. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies 

Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 and ⅛ cup
  • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - ½ tsp
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Unsalted Butter - ½ cup (100 grams)
  • Alpino Chocolate Peanut Butter Smooth - ¾ cup
  • Brown Sugar - ⅓ cup
  • Sugar - ⅓ cup
  • Eggs - 1
  • Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
  • Chocolate Chips - 1 cup

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Mix flour with baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  3. Take butter and peanut butter in a bowl and mix well till creamy.
  4. Add in both sugar and beat until fluffy.
  5. Add in egg, vanilla and mix well.
  6. Add in the flour mix and fold gently.
  7. Add in chocolate chips and mix well.
  8. You can place the dough in the fridge for 30 mins.
  9. Now use an ice cream scoop to scoop out the dough onto a baking sheet.
  10. Flatten it.
  11. Pop this in the oven and bake for 12 to 15 mins.
  12. Remove and cool; completely.
  13. Serve warm.

4. Peanut Butter Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • Instant Oats - 2 cups
  • Mixed Nuts - ½ cup chopped finely (cashews, almonds, pista, walnuts)
  • Dried Fruits - ½ cup chopped finely (raisins and dates)
  • Alpino Classic Peanut Butter Crunch - ½ cup
  • Butter - 4 tbsp
  • Honey - 2 to 3 tbsp

Directions

  1. Dry roast oats, till light golden. Add in dried fruits and nuts and toast for a few mins.
  2. Remove it to a bowl.
  3. In a pan, melt peanut butter, butter, honey and melt it. Cook till it bubbles up.
  4. Add in the oats and nuts mix, and combine.
  5. Spoon it in a parchment-lined pan and spread evenly.
  6. Chill for a couple of hours.
  7. Cut it into pieces.
  8. Serve.

5. Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients

  • Alpino Chocolate Peanut Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Skimmed Milk - 1 cup
  • Banana - 1
  • Low-fat yogurt - 1 cup
  • Ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend them until smooth.
  3. Top it with ice cubes & enjoy!
